This appointment type is advised for new patients who have never consulted with the Green Walkerrs clinic practitioner before and desire to see the practitioner.

The Consultation

Herbal Medicine can offer different perspective to a GP practice, often focusing on the body and mind as a whole rather than just the affected area. 

You will be afforded more time and a more holistic approach is taken. We will be interested in your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing to help us to create a health plan tailored to your individual needs. 

The herbal consultation will take approximately 75 minutes. The herbalist will talk to you, in confidence, about your medical history and a physical examination is performed when appropriate. Any other medication or treatment you are receiving will be given due consideration and when herbal treatment is not appropriate a referral to another healthcare professional will be discussed.

A follow-up appointment will take 30 minutes and will be booked approximately 4 weeks later, and subsequent visits may be monthly or at longer intervals.

Greenwalkerrs health plan may involve naturopathic, nutritional and lifestyle suggestions as well as a bespoke herbal formula prepared by the herbalist. 

Fees:

First consultation, follow-up appointments, and a 4-week supply of herbal remedies. Prices available upon request.
